MY goodness the price to have fun and live healthy.
This weekend we (a big group of children and adults) are going to the zoo for my daughters birthday, she wanted to do something outdoors and she has fallen in love with the zoo that is just a few minutes drive from our house.
The price to enter is 17euro for adult and 14 for a child, there is 14 adults coming to her little outing and and only 5 children. You do the maths, it is going to cost a fortune, then there is the little surprise I have her which is a horse drawn carriage to take us from the zoo to the place she wanted to eat at, she loves horses so much I know it will be a huge highlight of the day for her. Then there is the dinner on top of that.
Ok I know the adults like grandma and grandpa, her aunty and our best friends they will all put in some money for the dinner and more then likely throw in a little for the entry to the zoo, but come on, these days it cost an arm and a leg to spend time outside to do things fun and healthy, how many kids sit behind the tv and computer all day long and never play outside? and yet to go somewhere that children get fresh air and learn about different animals cost a fortune, ok ok they need to feed the animals and pay some of the workers but this zoo mainly runs on volunteers and government funding and I pay more then enough tax and the tax is going up so why is the entry prices also going op at things like the zoo? please do not get me started on the prices of fresh vegetables and fruit as well or I might just scream!

I am so out, I have picked all the wrong teams for the Europe championships, Holland won, I backed Italy, cz got their butt kicked my port. yup I backed the losing team.

I had it, I am out I lost all my money and I am pouting now lol.

On the bright side of life it is less then 2 weeks before Jill is here, I did plan on winning the lottery yesterday so we can have a little vacation but no, no one won the 21million so I better try next month it is a jackpot of 25million.

hmm what else? Oh yes my house renovations are coming along slowly, hmmm think I forgot to tell you all about that, well next time I will tell you :-)

Ok I am living in The Netherlands and I very much love it here, I am very proud of the country and I may just take it on as my own, thought tonight…ohhhh baby baby, tonight I was extra proud, The Netherlands kicked the world champions butt. Italy was kiced way out of view when they took on Holland in the work championships in Switzerland. woo hoo all I can say is HUP HOLLAND HUP.

It is Wednesday and it is weekend!!! woo hoo!!! can you believe it? I am done my week is over and now I can sit back and relax and do sweet F A … hmm **looks around her house** ok maybe I need to do some cleaning, a little ironing, brush some spider webs away but did you hear me ??? WEEK END!!! lovely weather, BBQ’s every night, driving to the beach and take a good book with me and… IT IS THE WEEKEND!!!!!

The last few days here in wooden shoe land it has been so warm and sticky outside it is not funny and to make matters worse it has been storming at night and I DO NOT like it!
Yes I am a grown woman and I do not like lightening, it scares the crap out of me! I will dive under my bed and hide from it. Sunday night the storm was so close I was about peeing my pants, I had a friend on the phone (gsm) and on the webcam at the same time, he lives about 10 minutes from me and he was laughing so hard seeing my face every time thunder crashed and lightening flashed. I was trying to hide under my table man it freaked me out!
When I was a child I recall my grandmother on the telephone during a tropical storm and she was thrown backwards from the phone as lightening hit the phone lines. Anyway it freaks me out!
