I hope you all had a good weekend, mine was not good and not bad, there was many mixed emotions this weekend but I shall keep that for another blog.
I am here to blog today about the radio station I listen to, my goodness it is driving me crazy!
At the moment they have a contest where you have to hunt down “Mr X” and you have to touch him and say a silly line which will end the “hunt”. They give you hints in the songs they play and then you have to figure out where he might be in the country, I am very lucky I live in a small country, form where I live to the south border is only 2 hours and to the north only an hour and being an Aussie that drive is not far at all for me and seeing the prize if you find Mr X is 50,000euro I am willing to fill my car and go for a drive!
So what am I doing while on doctors order not to work? I am hunting Mr X!

Not so good, Blast from the past.

This is how it all happened! Yesterday when I was picked up from my doctors appointment I wanted to do to the pet shop to get the cat some treats, she is a really picky eater so now and then I do try something different with 99.9% of the time the treats ending up in the bin.
I found something new and different so I thought I would give it a go

So I got home and called the cat and like usual she come running down the stairs, I cut open the bag of her new treats that are called sweet hearts and offered her one, they are a hard heart shaped candy.

She looked at me curled her nose up and started to walk around me, so like always I broke one in half and offered it to her again. After a lot of meowing and walking around me she decided to give it a 2nd try, no this was not going to happen, so step 3, crush the treat for her. By this time my back was killing me so I sat at the table crushing there little hearts as the cat jumped on the table watching be. After crushing them enough I offered her the treats, she had one lick of it, screwed her nose up and walked away.

That’s it, no more treats for the cat! I got the bag of treats tipped it upside down hoping she would eat one of the other colours, Hell I do not know maybe the different colours tasted different. I left them in a heap on the pile and went to do something else.
Later that night I went to my computer and I was chatting away with my friend and without even thinking I picked one of the sweet hearts up and put it in my mouth!!! Why the hell did I do that? I spat it out and started wiping my tongue, I went and rinsed my mouth. I come back to the computer to tell me friend what happened, he was in tears from laughing so hard and he asked why the hell did I do it, I looked at the heart and then I thought, Yeah I know why I done it.

First of all I was not really with it, I am on enough pain killers to knock out an elephant, well that is my excuse and am sticking too but, but in all honesty I was just not thinking and these little hearts reminded me of runts, do you remember them? the little heart candies? I grew up on them things and I think with lack of brainwave activity my subcontinents thought it was runts and I picked one up and popped it in my mouth.
Through all this I bet you the cat was sitting behind the door laughing her head off and thinking “yeah now you know why I am not eating them, they taste bad!”
So a not so nice blast from the past! Just incase you do not know what runts are here is a little pic.

How time flies when it is your Birthday. It only seems like a few minutes ago when I woke up to breakfast in bed as it is my birthday. Today I turned 35 and sitting here typing this after the day I have had I feel a lot older, I think I am to old to party!

There is 5 more minutes of my Birthday left, it is time for a pain killer and to rest, I am just lucky I have an amazing boss and I have tomorrow free, mind you it will more then likely be full of study!
