With all the things on my plate recently I have had to make a dollar go a long long way and I have done very well though I see the next few months also being a stretch. While looking after everyone else which has also cost me money I feel like there is a little “me” time needed.
Me time does not mean it has to cost a lot and I am trying to keep some funds aside for a rainy day but there has been some lovely temptations coming my way and I think I will give in and enjoy!
I have been getting so many offers for credit cards lately and the truth be known I have never actually had one, I think that is about to change just to help out for that rainy day and maybe also some pampering ;)
I am not sure I will accept credit cards I get in the mail, well not all of them ;) as sometimes there are shoes and cloths you just have to have. Lets face it being a female there is always something that catches your eye and it is a “must have”. I have heard horror stories about females running up huge credit card bills, I do not see how someone can live of credit but as long as I have my head screwed on right it will be just fine, so let them credit card applications roll!

If there is just one Aussie performer I would have to pick as my all time favourite it would have to be Tommy Emmanuel. Tommy is an amazing guitar player and just listening to him brings tears to your eyes and pain to your fingers.

On Tuesday I went to see him live in Zaandam and I had an amazing night other then the people sitting next to us but that is a whole different story.

He has to many songs I love it was impossible to pick one to put in this little blog but I did manage and if you want to see more you know where to go

Yes it was time. I knew it was coming but still… When it happened I was shocked! A new DVD to the kids collection. The other day I was walking into the shop and I seen the display and what happens? The kids eyes open so wide and then it starts, “Mum, mum, mum can I, can I, please please please can I buy it now?”
It seemed like only a few weeks ago we went to the cinema to see “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” and already it is sitting on the shelf in the collection.
I must say I really enjoy the movies myself and secretely when the kids ask to play a DVD I get them to pick one and I sit and enjoy it. I make the popcorn and set the surround sound on and Bob’s your uncle!
The house at the moment is Chipmunk mania. Just when you thought there could be no More Munk Mayhem there is a “The Squeak Along” Bonus Disc, being a huge hit and so much fun to see the kids with smiles on their face, then again that happens through the whole movie too.
Ok I will confess, I love it and I join in!

Woo hoo vacation is here! Why am I happy? no idea at all seeing I will be stuck with so many kids and so few friends to palm them off too.
Today is going to be full of visiting and helping out at the retirement home for horses and after that off to grandma for a short visit then back home so the kids can play with their friends. I am lucky enough that tonight the little monster is having a sleep over at a friends and also tomorrow night but tomorrow night the sleep over it at my house! can anyone say valium?

Ahh the big day, we all dream about it and these days most people do it more then once!
In July one of my friends are getting married and she is starting to stress that something will go wrong, well hate to tell you this darling but there is only so much you can plan and the rest is left up to “life”
She has ordered her flowers, wedding menu cards, music, cake all those things but you can not plan the weather and that is the main thing she is worried about.
At my wedding it rained in the morning and was so hot in the afternoon and I had a really long dress and I was like a pig on a spit in that thing! Ok I still had a wonderful day and so many things went wrong and I keep telling my friend about it, hmm maybe that is why she is not contacting me so much lately!
All I can say is, I wish you all the luck on your wedding day, I know everything will go perfect as you have planned it well, it will really be a fairytale wedding but just remember all the hard work starts after your married!
